THINGS TO DO

Fun and pristine nature

A sea of opportunities and things to do in just one unforgettable place

SEASIDE

With its 40 km of rugged beautiful coastline Ogliastra is one of the last natural havens for many species of wild life, such as Audouin’s gull, Eleonora’s falcon and the European shag. Here they can build their nests and live in harmony with the surrounding natural environment. Ogliastra is also home to a variety of endemic species that are well guarded by goat herders- the guardians of the land.

MOUNTAIN

Set in the eastern edge of the highlands, Baunei’s Supramonte is a mountain range defined by plateaus. It spans for about 22.000 hectares with a scenic landscape that is rich in barren cliffs and deep canyons.
The best way to enjoy the Supramonte is hiking or participating in one of the many guided tours- hiking, mountain biking, horse riding or more comfortably, in an off road vehicle.

HORSE RIDING

In Golgo’s plateau, fitting perfectly with the landscape around, you can find the Equestrian Centre. Surrounded by green spaces and marvellous nature it offers high quality equestrian experiences for all ages and abilities.

MOUNTAIN BIKE

In Baunei some of the trails go through thick forest or are set on hard limestone. You can enjoy stunning and breath taking views descending from 800 m a.s.l. to the sea.
